We are looking for a Data Analyst (future OSIsoft PI System Specialist) to strengthen the team based in Nysa, Poland. This role can be done remotely, but it requires spending one working week per month at our client’s office in Nysa.
You do not need to have practical experience with AVEVA/OSIsoft PI system, data integration, and use-case implementation, but you should be open to learning the tool and working with it.
What you can look forward to:
- Supporting Business Units (BUs) in the E2E process of defining, designing, and implementing use cases in the OSIsoft PI System. This involves both functional aspects (e.g., what the use case should deliver) and technical aspects (e.g., how it is implemented), in close collaboration with local stakeholders. Local stakeholders may include management, blue-collar workers, and various departments (e.g., Production, Maintenance, IT)
- Working closely with other members of the digitalization team and the IT department to define priorities and roadmaps for use cases as well as OSIsoft PI System implementation
- Supporting the integration of OSIsoft PI System with other systems (e.g. LIMS, SAP, Business Intelligence tools, and cloud-based platforms)
in collaboration with local teams and the central IT department - Developing technology capabilities within the BUs. Next to setting up certain use cases yourself, it’s important to also share knowledge and train people within the BU
To easily manage this role you should have:
- Analytical skills to understand the interaction between different technological components in a digitalization project
- At least basic knowledge of data management
- Knowledge of and experience in one of the Microsoft on-premise and Azure cloud technologies is a big plus
- Communicating skills
